1. Using the IP Address

Just like every website on the internet, Facebook also has an IP Address. Whenever you type www.facebook.com on the browser, the DNS refers to its corresponding IP Address, and only then you can visit Facebook.
Now, sometimes your teacher or the IT person may have only blocked URL but not the IP address. If this is the case then we can unblock Facebook by simply entering Facebook’s IP address in the address bar of your browser.

So how do we find Facebook’s IP Address?

Open Command Prompt and type “ping www.facebook.com” if you’re from windows.
When the reply comes you will find the IP address [ 31.13.79.220 ] of Facebook as shown in the above image. Then put the IP address in the browser’s address bar and press enter.

If you find that the trick stops working after a specific time, then repeat the process to find the new Facebook IP address. Some PC does not allow the user to open command prompt without having administrative privilege. In that case, you can use an online web tool to find the IP address of Facebook.

2. Check the System HOST File

A HOST File is a system file ( located at C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc ) used by the operating system to map the hostnames with their respective IP address. Say for instance, when a user types in www.facebook.com on a browser, the host file is checked for its respective IP address. When it is not found, only then the request is handled by the DNS server which translates the host's name in the IP address and redirects the request to the corresponding server.

We can use this method to unblock Facebook by simply removing any lines related to Facebook.

So how do we change the HOST File?

On your computer, browse to c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc. Right-click on the Hosts file and open it with notepad or any text editor.

If you find www.facebook.com then just delete the entire line/row and save the file as normal.

3. Using a Proxy Site

Proxy websites are a good solution to unblock Facebook and works almost every time. There are several paid websites that provide you access to blocked websites using a proxy. However, you can use some free third-party proxy websites to open Facebook. But, of course, there might be a security threat of stealing your Facebook credentials with free proxy websites.
